This golf course has spent 3 years on the “Top 100 Courses You Can Play” ranked list, meaning this course is by no means a joke. The sprawling 18 hole course is nestled among the rolling hills of Worley, Idaho and spans large distance of 7,189 yards. You can tee off for the mere cost of $95 on a summer weekend. The price includes: all 18 holes, use of a golf cart, a GPS, and full use of their practice course. If you are interested in more than just a day trip, their Stay and Play package includes a one night stay for you and a friend in their lodge for $239 on the weekend, as well as having golf privileges.

This 6,803 yard golf course and resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is currently the world’s only golf course to have a Floating Green, a feat that is quite impressive. Positioned beautifully among mountains, Sun Valley has been recognized in a list of the top 75 resort golf courses. It was designed in 1980 by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., who placed it within and around Trail Creek in Sun Valley, Idaho. As is most common, it includes 18 holes over 6,968 yards and golfing there includes: access to both a bar and a restaurant, storage and rental facilities, and more. They have several packages depending on the season that include a stay in their inn or lodge for the night while golfing as well.

If you’re looking for a course that is a bit more on the family friendly and recreational side, Bear Lake West is the place for you. A 9 hole course located by the mountains and Bear Lake in Fish Haven, Idaho, the scenery is beautiful. They provide everyone who plays the option to rent clubs while they play, visit the pro shop and the use of pull carts. When you have finished playing, or before you start, be sure to stop by their delicious restaurant for a bite to eat. Osprey Meadows Golf Course

This golf course, located within the Tamarack Resort in Tamarack, Idaho is 18 holes in 7,319 yards. Designed again by the talented Robert Trent Jones, Jr., the course boasts the title of “Best New Upscale Public Course,” a title they received in 2006. Be sure to experience the privacy of golfing while being surrounded by trees that tower over you and having Lake Cascade as your beautiful view.
